This glass mosaic depicts the desire that our daughters, the future generations of the women of Israel, will possess the essential traits of the great Jewish women who preceded them.

Size: 11 ft. x 5.5 ft.
Our congregation, Congregation Beth Am, engaged Bruce David to design and fabricate a large (eleven foot wide) half moon shaped glass mosaic piece. Our goal was to depict "Women in Judaism." Bruce's research and creativity intertwined history and its significance by incorporating it into an inspired and dazzling design. From start to finish, Bruce was professional, as were his fabricators. He met every milestone date in his contract and was a pleasure to work with.
The design and quality far exceeded our vision.
When entering our synagogue, the first thing we see is our amazing work of art. Bruce's design is awe-inspiring. It is truly a work of art and we will enjoy it for years to come.
Sincerely,

The two large hands portray this blessing as one which is being passed through the generations of time. The rendering of the Matriarchs woven into the center of the "Tree of Life" design exemplifies the indispensable nature of their existence to the survival of our people. On either side of the tree are many of the distinguished women whose leadership and courage helped shape our future. In blessing our own daughters, we pray that they, too, should possess the special traits of these notable and remarkable women who preceded them. By learning from those who came before them, we hope that they, too, can find meaning and wholeness in their lives and be worthy of their special heritage.
